The sequel to The Expendables is to start filming in Bulgaria shortly.  It has been reported that scenes for The Expendables 2 are to be shot in the winter ski resort of Bansko.  The sequel is to include big name stars of Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegeer, Mickey Rouke, Jason Statham, Jean-Claude Van-Damme, Chuck Norris and Slyvester Stallone.  Also reported to be appearing are John Travolta and Nicolas Cage.

According to reports the majority of filming is due to take place in film studios in Sofia.
