The Costa del Sol is once again finding favour with British Tourists after a visit by the first lady of the USA, Michelle Obama

The Costa del Sol is once again finding favour with British Tourists.  According to a major online rental portal it remains the most popular place to rent a home overseas.  The 2^nd most popular destination was France, with Portugal and Italy next.

According to figures recently released, Spain saw an increase in overnight guests in July of 11% compared with the same month in 2009. 

The Costa Del Sol had its profile boosted this summer when the first lady of the USA Michelle Obama and her daughter spent part of their holiday in Marbella.
